These selected images of my work reflect my love for pattern, bold colors and the sea. Click on each image to enlarge.

I create my 'From the Sea' necklaces, plates and coasters by texturing raw clay with shells and corals I collected during my beach combing session on the West Coasts of Florida and Puerto Rico. Each item is individually formed, and is a one-of-a-kind tapestry of sea-life.

My 'Stormy Seas at Night' bowls also reflect my love for the water. The abstract patterns are intended to suggest crashing waves or splashing water. The glazing process I use to create this effect involves a certain degree of control, but a good measure of chaos as well. It is not an exact, nor immediate process, as I have to wait until the bowls have gone through 10 hours of glaze firing and then 12 hours of cooling until the pieces of functional art are revealed.
